Privacy policy

Operator: Jinian Company (지니안 컴퍼니). Effective November 4, 2026. Focus Pet is a focus timer for a general audience aged 14 and over. It does not require a Focus Pet account.

On-device information and optional features

Focus sessions, accumulated time, companion progress and health, collection state, your selected advertising age band, and preferences are stored on your device to provide the app. We do not operate a server that collects these records. You can reset local progress in the app. Exported files and operating-system backups must be managed separately where you saved them.

With permission, the app displays notifications. The optional Screen Time feature uses Apple's Family Controls and Device Activity services to process your selected apps, categories and web domains and usage thresholds on the device and in its extensions. Exceeding your chosen limits may affect your virtual companion's health. The core timer works without this permission. Disconnecting stops monitoring. Use the separate “Delete selections and threshold records” action to clear app-held selections and threshold records; the daily notification count limit is retained. Focus Pet does not add focus records, selected-app usage information or companion state to ad-targeting requests.

When you export or restore a backup, the file provider you choose processes the file under its own terms. Backups may contain focus and progress records.

Advertising and choices

Ad-supported free versions may show Google AdMob ads in Collection lists only after you select “18 or older” and complete any required consent flow. Choosing an age band is optional and defaults to “Not selected.” We do not request ads for “Not selected” or “14–17.” We do not ask for your date of birth; only the selected band is stored on your device and can be changed in Settings. The core timer works without making this selection. Google Mobile Ads and UMP may process device identifiers, approximate location inferred from network information, advertising and app interactions, performance and diagnostic data for advertising, measurement, analytics, fraud prevention or consent management. Processing depends on location, permissions, consent and service configuration. Required privacy choices are presented in applicable regions and can be revisited in Settings under Advertising Privacy when available. iOS tracking permission is managed in system settings. A verified All Features purchase suppresses collection ad requests.

Purchases, contact and this website

Apple processes payments. The app checks verified StoreKit transactions and entitlements; we do not receive card numbers or payment passwords. Apple's privacy policy and App Store procedures apply. Restoring a purchase restores access, not your companion or focus history.

If you email us, we use your return address, message and attachments to answer and resolve your issue. We retain them while needed for this purpose, then delete them when that purpose ends or you request deletion, except where retention is legally required. Do not send passwords, payment details or unnecessary personal information.

Cloudflare Pages serves this website and may process IP addresses and request information for delivery and security. The site has no advertising, visitor analytics scripts or registration form. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Your rights, audience and contact

Use app settings to manage local data and backups, and iOS settings to manage system permissions. To request access, correction, deletion, restriction or withdrawal of consent, contact jiniancompany@gmail.com. We address requests under applicable law and may direct you to your device or the external provider for information we do not hold.

The app is not directed to children under 14. If we learn that such a child's personal information was provided through a support request, we take appropriate steps such as deletion. Additional regional requirements may apply to minors and advertising. We update this policy's effective date when it changes and provide in-app notice when needed.
